Witness Their Happyness

Katy Couples

Ever since I first met Katy, I’ve been looking forward to her wedding.
When she came over for her client consultation, she brought treats for Maccabee, thus sealing her place in both of our hearts.
On the wedding day she had a sweet note and a gift ready for me when I walked in the door of her suite at The Four Seasons.
She is one of the most thoughtful people I’ve ever met, and is truly lovely inside and out.
We had a fabulous bridal session together a few months before the wedding, and I got the chance to preview her stunning Justin Alexander wedding dress.
She and Ben got married at the Catholic Shrine of The Immaculate Conception, the first Catholic church in Atlanta’s history.

It was a beautiful ceremony with a fun fusion of cultures.  At the end of the ceremony Ben stomped on a glass and everybody yelled “Mazel Tov!”
It was great to see a Jewish twist on a church wedding and everyone was pleased to see Ben break the glass on his first try!
The reception was held at the Four Seasons, in their newly renovated ballroom.
Everything was gorgeous, and was planned to perfection by Magnolia Events.
Ben is a cigar aficionado and surprised the guests with a collection of Cuban cigars for them to enjoy out on the terrace.
That special touch was a huge hit!
Katy and Ben, congratulations on finally being married!
I know you waited a long time for that day, and we’re so thankful that you had us there for your celebration!

Kecla Couples

I need to start off by mentioning that Kaela’s hair is beautiful. The style, the fresh blooms…..I am expecting much pinning to inspiration boards taking place this morning.
Then I need to mention that this venue is ‘Mazin. Who knew a giant tower of books could be so……cool?
Loving the neutral colour palette, loving the red velvet cake, loving the intimacy of a small celebration and LOVING the passionate embraces which are captured so perfectly.
All of this awesomeness was planned in just eight weeks.
Happy Tuesday folks.

When Plan to Get Married- You Need Know These

Planning to get married these day, it is a big deal, not for your life, but also for your rest life, so you need to pay more attention to it, here are some information for you to mind, hoping that they are helpful, congratulation to you and your love.
1) Insist on Time to Think - You can be firm with salespeople without being impolite. Let them know that you need a moment to think, alone. Get the person's name and contact information. That will give the salesperson a bit of comfort, believing that you'll contact them directly when you're ready to buy.
2) Tell Them You Need to Check Out the Company First - When you're out shopping, such as buying an engagement ring, tell pushy salespeople you prefer to check their company out first. Better Business Bureau and the company's local Chamber of Commerce are just two of the legitimate resources that help you investigate businesses and their customer reviews. If they already know their ratings won't hold up to your standards, they'll back off very quickly.
3) Always Make an Educated Decision Before you go to a Wedding Ring Store - Try to have some type of idea what you truly want. Go to Google Images and look at various images of different types, shapes and styles of diamonds. Visit diamond store blogs to read up on diamond cuts, quality and industry pricing standards. That way, when you decide to actually visit the store, you're already educated, to a certain degree, about the diamond you want.
4)On Buying The Wedding Dresses You Need to Think Twice—Online or Physical store- Today, new websites are popping up all the time.  According to Mashable.com, in June 2011 about 150,000 new websites were being registered in a single day.  With the web growing so fast, you might miss some of the new and upcoming wedding websites that can be invaluable to planning your wedding and assisting with life after you are married.  I didn't include Wedding Thingz as one of featured sites because you already found us! However, I'm so happy to share five great websites that can be a tremendous help to any bride.

Make the Wedding Eco Friendly

Costa Rica Wedding

We definitely have a soft spot around here for beautiful wedding details but when those beautiful wedding details are also eco-friendly, well, we have to admit the results far exceed your everyday beautiful wedding. With an amazing venue in gorgeous Costa Rica, an eye for good style, and a desire to make their event not only green but also completely vegan, this earth-friendly couple celebrated one pretty amazing destination wedding all caught on film by Comfort Studio.

The Deco

For decor Weddings Costa Rica tried to do everything as eco and natural as possible. All the flowers were grown locally and the ceremony and welcome gift baskets were hand-woven by an indigenous women’s cooperative. All paper products were printed on paper made from banana fibers, including the mini-flags in the cupcakes, deciphering the different flavors.  Instead of a guest book, WCR designed and printed reproductions of antique post cards of Costa Rica over the past century.

The Wedding Dress

Dresses aren't always eco-friendly because, after making a pattern, there's bound to be extra material that gets tossed. And with man-made fabrics, like most tulles and some satins, electricity has to be used to create these. The fact that you'll only wear a wedding gown once also adds to the wastefulness. Your mom preserved her wedding dress for a reason. If it's not quite your style, work with a seamstress to make it right. Yep, we get it -- choosing a gown just for you is one of the highlights of wedding planning. But there are ways to be green when deciding what to wear. First stop: Check out vintage clothing shops for pre-worn dresses. That way, no new gowns are made and the dress that you buy gets a second wear too. But if you prefer to wear a brand-new dress, try to find a designer who uses sustainable fabrics created by nature -- and not a factory -- like organic cotton, silk or hemp. We love Adele Wechsler's Eco Couture line. Consider letting the bridal party wear clothes they already own. Offer a few guidelines, like a color or dress length. They'll love that they can show off their style.
And now  there are wide range of affodable wedding dresses online.Like PDweddingdresses.

It provides any bride with a sense of innocence mixed with elegance and pureness.

Having an autumn or winter wedding? This tight twisted bun looks chic and sleek, and will withstand any weather conditions.
A classic twisted knot will look super-chic for a bride or guest. This 3.1 Phillip Lim style is simply gorgeous.

This soft, romantic style is elegant yet really easy to achieve. Use big rollers to get loads of volume through the crown and curls through the ends, then roughly pin to one side and tease the front to add a little volume.

Winter Blooms for Wedding

As we all know, most weddings are held during the summer and early fall – think the months of June, July, August, and September. Though not as common, winter weddings are special in their own right and can be extraordinary with the right selection of flowers, branches, and berries particular to the winter season. The only tricky part is having décor that affirmatively states “winter wedding” and not “holiday office party”. Of course, there is nothing wrong with simply ignoring the winter season if your wedding happens to fall within a winter month. But if you would like to make the wedding look seasonal, there are many interesting and exquisite wintry flowers to use!
White is very bridal and also brings to mind snow and frost. I love red because it is festive, romantic, and warm. Both white and red are perfect for a winter wedding, and you can also add in accents of another color – perhaps a pale pink, a deep burgundy, a light blue, or a silvery green.
Choosing flowers for your big day can seem daunting. There is the bridal bouquet to consider plus the bridesmaids’ bouquets, the ceremony and reception arrangements, boutonnieres, corsages and headpieces. And while flowers can be sourced all year round, to make sure you’re getting the best quality and the best prices its always a good idea to choose flowers that are in season.

If you’re looking for a supplier, currently we love Basia Puchalski who provided the flower displays for the Melbourne Bridal Expo Bride.com.austand this year. Their stunning, tailored designs will make sure your day is unique to what you want.
